World Heritage Taj Mahal & Agra Fort 1 Day Trip from Delhi

This tour will take you to the ancient Agra area, which has earned the title of UNESCO World Heritage site.

Visit in one day India’s most beautiful mausoleum “Taj Mahal” and the symbol of power and prosperity of the Mughal Empire “Agra Fort”. After Agra Fort, lunch with North-Indian cuisine “Thali”. The tour finally visit marble factory where workers continue to making marble products by secret skills and a souvenir shop.

Option Saree Rental (Indian costume) is highly recommended!
Wearing a traditional Indian Saree (for men a traditional Kurta) in front of the pure white World Heritage Taj Mahal will surely provide many opportunities for wonderful pictures. Participants can choose one out of 30 different colorful patterns.

06:30-07:30 Departure from hotel (or specified meeting place) in Delhi with English speaking guide.
via Yamuna Express Highway (ca. 3-3.5H)
Arrival at Agra city (participants with Sari Rental bookings are asked to visit the rental shop)
■World Heritage Taj Mahal, most beautiful mausoleum (90 mins).
■World Heritage Agra Castle (60 mins).
Enjoy lunch with North-Indian cuisine "Thali" (Vegetarian options available)
Marble factory tour and souvenir shopping
19:30 Return to hotel (or specified location) in Delhi.

Remarks

1. The tour is not operated on Friday due to close of Taj Mahal.
2. For single participants: there will be no refund even if there are two or more people on site.
3. The visiting order on the itinerary may be changed.
4. For departure from Delhi Airport or transfer to Delhi Airport after the tour there will be an additional fee.
5. During the tour participants will be guided to souvenir shops and shopping malls. However it is not necessary to purchase something. 6. In case arrival time to Delhi is delayed due to traffic conditions or other reasons, our company will not responsible for taxi fares, overnight accommodations or other expenses. 7. Air pollution tends to become more serious in India every year during the winter months. It is currently winter in India, and depending on the day, you may not be able to see the Taj Mahal clearly.
