Moonlight Party is the traditional event on August 15th in Old Style Calendar (at the middle of September in new one), which we prepare the special rice dumpling and silver grass and place them close to the window. Autumn is the season for well harvesting time in Japan, so originally this Moonlight party has the meaning of praying the rich harvest of its year.
