Savor Tokyo deeply! Drinking alley recommendations (3/3) A city oasis with discerning tastes
In the drinking alley one step away from the main street, is an entertainment district with little shops crowded together. There are drinking alleys that started as post-war black markets, and newly built drinking alleys as part of area regeneration. The appeal of the drinking alleys lies in having a good time with the strangers next to you, barhopping , and having a carefree time. This time we introduce a drinking alley with a stylish atmosphere and a warmth, that the people call a flashy drinking alley: "Yoyogi VILLAGE by kurkku"!
Yoyogi VILLAGE is located right next to Yoyogi Station, but has a wide space of lush greenery. This business establishment, opened in 2011, is a whole new sensation, and Japan's representative creators and chefs flocked there in pursuit of uniqueness. At eateries in the Container Zone they do deliveries from other establishments! It's a popular spot with a modern atmosphere where you can feel the bonds between people.
The garden inside is colored with plants gathered from around the world and Japan by the fifth generation of an old wholesale plant store called Plant Hunter. The plants differ per season which gives it a whole new scenery. At the time of coverage, September 2014, they had plants, a beach, and decorations like swimming rings, which made it look like the beaches of the southern countries.
